Eric Javellaud began his career in 1989 at the SERETE in Paris, second group engineering in France. He occupied the positions of consultant and project manager.

In 1994, he joined Essilor’s Engineering division to work on international projects. In 1997, he created the Supply Chain Development department. He also spearheaded the project to reshape the supply chain’s information and optimization systems for the Worldwide operations, which includes production and distribution sites in Europe, Asia and the United States.

In 2003, he took over the management of Essilor’s plant in Dijon. In 2007, he came to the United States to oversee operations of the North American plants.

In early 2008, he was appointed Senior VP of American Operations which includes four plants in the US, one plant in Mexico, another in Brazil and one distribution center, all totaling 2200 employees.

Field of expertise: Industry and supply chain.

Eric has an Engineering degree from the Ecole Superieure de l’Energie et des Materiaux. He also has a DESS in Business Administration from the IAE and the IEP Insead.
