Valerie Ferret Executive Director

As the Executive Director of the FACC-New England Chapter, Valerie focuses her actions on increasing networking opportunities and transatlantic business connections through the FACC-NE's events and resources.

Prior to joining the FACC-NE, Valerie was a Legal Counsel with experience in both legal and coporate environments. She started her career as a Legal Counsel in the Law Firm “Mermet & associates” in France where she assisted individual and corporate clients on matters related to French, European and International Laws. After two years in this position, she was recruited by Dintec, a postal services firm in Luxembourg, to create a full-service in-house legal function. She managed all corporate legal functions, provided legal and general business counsel to the CEO for two years, and obtained dismissal of a $2M claim by the Luxembourg Post against the company.

She arrived in Boston in June 2006, and became a member of the FACC-NE. In January 2007, she was recruited by the FACC-NE to serve as the Assistant Director and became the Executive Director in July 2007.
