Maurice Gervais is currently
a Professor at Simmons College Graduate School of Management. He also taught at
Radcliffe Seminars, Harvard Extension and University of Massachusetts. He
teaches graduate courses on Corporate Strategies, International Marketing,
Entrepreneurship, Managing in the Global Economy, Government and Business in
Europe, Structures of Global Industries, Internet Strategies.
Gervais spent most of his professional career in the computer industry and managed operations in Europe and in the U.S. with American and French firms. He has extensive experience in Engineering, Program Management, Strategic Planning, Customer Services, Sales and Marketing. His last position was Vice President of Marketing for the French Group Bull in Boston, with responsibility of over $1 billion sales in North America and Pacific, for computer products ranging from Mainframes to PC's, software applications, communication equipment. His responsibilities lead him to travel extensively throughout the world, dealing with foreign partners, customers and suppliers. Gervais recently participated in Business Seminars in Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Korea, China and India. Recently, he consulted for several high-tech start-up companies in Russia and Central Asia.
Gervais has an engineering degree from the Conservatoire des Arts et Metiers in Paris and a Master in Business Administration from Boston University. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
