Administrative Assistant & AR/AP Specialist - Cambridge, MA

Axelia Partners is currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a half-time morning position, five days per week, and is immediately available. Must have administrative experience and some accounting training and experience. Dynamic and rewarding work environment. 

In this role, you would be responsible for providing: 

Administrative services:

  • Responsible for handling time-sensitive incoming and outgoing mail for our company with 200+ clients (Stamp, distribute, determine priority, etc.), as well as some filing and other administrative duties;
  • Assist Office Manager with clerical tasks.

 Accounting services:

  • A/R and A/P processing for our 200+ clients and assist with maintaining the general ledger for the AR/AP side.


Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of accounting experience required. Sage 50 and online software (QuickBooks, Navision, SAP, NetSuite, etc.) experience preferred; strong Excel skills required. Seen as a strong plus, but not required, is an experience in a public accounting or financial services environment. Knowledge of French is a plus.
