MISSION

The French-American Chamber of Commerce, New England Chapter (FACCNE) is a non-profit, independent, member-driven organization dedicated to fostering good transatlantic business relationships.

The French-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States, Inc. was founded in New York in 1806, and the New England Chapter was created in 1982. It is a member of UCCIFE (Association of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad) offering access to more than 110 Chambers that represent over 24,500 companies.

The FACCNE is a Business Club regrouping more than 150 French and American members that represent 85 corporations. It acts as an essential liaison between the French and American communities by offering its members significant services:

•  FACC networks

The FACC is the principal forum in New England for French and American business leaders to meet, discuss common interests and exchange ideas. It helps promote and connect businesses and individuals through industry-specific seminars, keynote speaker presentations and networking activities at various breakfast, luncheon and evening events, shared with other organizations.

•  FACC informs

The FACC proposes a quarterly newsletter, Le Courrier, which includes the latest American/European business trends. Each issue focuses on a specific theme and is distributed to more than a thousand executives in New England.
The FACC also sends a weekly e-news to its mailing list, with updates on the French-American news.

•  FACC connects

The FACC assists companies both in France and New England to help start or further their businesses in either country by establishing business contacts through its vast referral services. It provides contacts with French and U.S. governmental and economic agencies, diplomatic and consular agents and all other associations in France and in the U.S. that pursue similar goals. It also provides a list of French Subsidiaries in the area and gives access to members' directories.

•  FACC rewards

Each year, the FACC recognizes the achievements of a major American/French corporation whose significant participation in building and strengthening transatlantic relationship is recognized and honored at the French-American Award gala. The selected corporation for the year receives the prestigious French-American Business Award of New England - a handsome crystal piece inscribed to the honoree.
