Denis Payre, is a French entrepreneur, he is the founder and President of Nature and People First. An ESSEC graduate, Denis Payre co-founded Business Objects (sold to SAP for over $6B in 2008) and Kiala, two fast-growing, innovative companies that have had global success. He is also very involved in community life and in politics, he created Croissance Plus in 1997 and co-founded the political movement Nous Citoyens in 2013. Throughout his career, he has supported many startups!

 

 
Moderator: Dr. John Piret

Dr. Piret is Program Manager for MIT's Energy Storage Research Center, which links the member companies to the MIT faculty who perform Energy Storage research. He recruits new member companies; works with member companies to develop their MIT sponsored research portfolios; and develops new ideas and endeavors for the Center.
