Our next Jeunes Ambassadeurs event will take place April 9, 2018, at Harvard Business School and will feature a presentation from Hervé Coyco, former Michelin President.
The transformation of Michelin from a technology-focused company to a company focused on both technology and customer loyalty. Hervé Coyco will also speak on his experience leading Michelin through a crisis at Formula 1.
The Presentation will be followed by Food, Drinks and Networking.
Hervé Coyco is an Affiliate Professor at HEC School of Management-Paris, where he is currently the Academic Director for leading European companies Custom Programs, co-Academic Director of TRIUM Global EMBA-an alliance between the London School of Economics, New York University's Stern School of Business and HEC School of Management-Paris, as well as lecturer in Strategy and Leadership in several prestigious degree programs.
Before joining HEC, Hervé Coyco worked for the Michelin Group for 30 years. During this period, he held several Senior Executive positions in Europe, North America and Asia.
Member of the Group Executive Council from 1996 to 2008, he spent 10 years as President of the Passenger Car Tire Division - an 8 bilion euros/year, 50,000 employees worldwide business unit - before moving to Singapore at the end of 2005 as President of Michelin Asia-Pacific Operations.
In addition to his teaching, Hervé Coyco acts as a consultant in Strategy, Organization and Management of International Operations.
Through his professional and academic career, Hervé Coyco developed an in-depth knowledge of the Automotive, Defense, Infrastructure, Energy and Air Transportation industries.
He graduated in Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Paris in 1977 and got a Master in Business Administration from HEC School of Management in 1992.
