Cyrille Du Peloux was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Energy North America in July 2011. As an executive for the Veolia Environnement group of companies since 2002, Mr. du Peloux has previously served as a CEO in both Veolia's waste management and transportation divisions.

Before joining Veolia Energy, Mr. du Peloux held positions in various sectors, including information technology, communications, and media services. In total, Mr. du Peloux has served as a senior executive at multiple companies, and in multiple industries, for more than twenty-five years. He also spent five years working in the Department of Energy at the French Ministry of Industry.

Mr. du Peloux earned degrees in Engineering at Ecole Polytechnique and at Ecole des Ponts et Chaussees, with both institutions located in Paris, France.
