Since early 2011, Jean-Yves Lagarde has been working as Director in the Strategy & Business Development Group for the IT Business of the French multinational company Schneider Electric.

Prior to that, Mr. Lagarde was Co-Founder and Managing Director of Eurica Ventures, a start-up Capital Development fund centered on the financing of French technology companies developing commercial activities in the United States. He has also held positions at Saint Gobain, Total, Corning, and Boston Millennia Partners.
Mr. Lagarde holds an M.S. in Engineering from ENSEEIHT (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs d’Electronique, Electrotechnique, Informatique, Hydraulique et Télécommunications) at the Institut National Polytechnique in Toulouse, France, and an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
