FACCNE is looking for a passionate Membership & Sponsorship Coordinator who will manage a portfolio of assigned sponsors/members/clients, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities. The Development Manager will directly report to FACCNE’s Executive Director.

Overview of position 

FACCNE is looking for a passionate Membership & Sponsorship Coordinator who will manage a portfolio of assigned sponsors/members/clients, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities. The Development Manager will directly report to FACCNE’s Executive Director. 

Description of responsibilities

  1. Prospection and Development    
  • Identifying and targeting new prospective Elite members or sponsors   
  • Developing strong relationship with prospects 
  • Designing FACCNE memberships’ and sponsorships’ benefits and other FACCNE’s services (such as Learning Expedition)
  1. Negotiation and Sales 
  • Creating proposal for clients, customized for their needs  
  • Writing contract and negotiating agreement with clients 
  • Managing the sales process (invoice, payment…) 
  1. Follow-up and Renewal   
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and ensuring all sponsors achieve their business objectives 
  • Monitoring of clients’ satisfaction and managing membership/sponsorship renewal  
  • Liaising with Event, Communication and Services Coordinators to ensure the timely and successful delivery of FACCNE’s services according to the clients’ needs 
  • Tracking and reporting sales results and forecasts for FACCNE’s Executives and Board   

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Ability to communicate, present credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent prioritization, strong organizational and follow-up skills 
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects while paying attention to details and deadlines 
  • Ability to work on their own initiative, effectively both as an individual and as part of a team
  • Ability to work on administrative tasks related to Account management (reporting, invoicing)
  • Flexible schedule to attend FACCNE’s events  
  • Computer proficiency, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Authorization to work in the United Stated

Compensation

Negotiable, based on experience + bonus 

This is a part-time opportunity from 20 to 24 hours a week
