Katie Ellias is a seasoned venture capital and business development professional with over a decade of experience in life sciences investing.
She has deep expertise across biotech, pharma, medical devices, and digital health, with a strong background in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, and diabetes.
From 2018 to 2024, she served as Managing Director of T1D Fund, a single-disease impact fund, leveraging venture philanthropy to drive innovation. Katie has held board roles in 12+ early and late-stage companies across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. With a global perspective, she has led product launches, M&A initiatives, and strategic growth efforts in the United States andEurope.
Since January 2025, she is a member of FACCNE's Board of Directors.
