Fireside chat with French Judo Olympian Clarisse Agbegnenou
On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, FACCNE and the International School of Boston (ISB) had the distinct honor of welcoming 3-time Olympic medalist Clarisse Agbegnenou, one of France’s most celebrated athletes, for an unforgettable evening focused on excellence and resilience.
Moderated by FACCNE Board Member Katie Ellias, the discussion explored the intersection of sports and leadership. Clarisse shared powerful insights on navigating setbacks, the challenges of women’s leadership, and the mindset required to turn discouragement into fuel for success. Her core message resonated with the diverse audience of professionals and local judo clubs: "Never stop fighting for your dreams."
The evening concluded with a Q&A and networking reception, where kids got their judo kit signed and attendees, and students in particular, were able to ask more questions about how to navigate their life.
