Important Security Alert - Fraudulent Activity under the name "CCIFA"

We have been alerted of a scam currently targeting businesses across North America.
It has come to our attention that an organization calling itself "CCIFA – Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie France Amérique" has been contacting companies in the United States and Canada. This group is sending emails, letters, and—most concerningly—fraudulent invoices.
Please be aware that this is a SCAM.
This organization is in no way affiliated with the French-American Chamber of Commerce - New England (FACCNE), nor is it part of the official network of French Chambers abroad.
This fraudulent activity is affecting a wide geographic area, and several other chapters within the FACC network have reported similar attempts. The messages often use inaccurate or incorrect company names, which serves as an additional red flag regarding their legitimacy.
